Footbridge made of UHPC in the village of Lužec nad Vltavou
The construction process of a new footbridge made of UHPC in the village of Lužec nad Vltavou with a span of 138 m over the Vltava river is currently in its final stage. The cable stayed bridge is a structure with one pylon; the main span is 99.18 m and the secondary span is 31.9 m. The paper describes in detail the design process of this unique structure. Segments made of the UHPC and their testing are described and a detailed process of the construction of the main span is provided.
